Adult Education

As committed Christians, we are engaged in a lifelong process of growing our relationships with God, self, others, and all creation.

Every experience we have can offer us an opportunity to express our faith.

The challenge is to recognize opportunities when they come along and learn how to translate them into doing God’s work in the world. There is so much to learn and so much to do! At Trinity there is a growing range of learning opportunities.

Confirmation

Confirmation is an important sacramental rite that marks a formal, mature commitment to Christ. When we are confirmed, we embrace the Episcopal Baptismal Covenant, and promise to live a Christian life. Many people are confirmed in the church as soon as they are mature enough to make the commitment required of them – usually in their early teens. Others are confirmed as adults. Normally, the priest prepares candidates for confirmation with a short course of instruction. Often candidates’ sponsors or other members of the congregation are also included in this process. When candidates are ready, the priest presents them to the bishop for confirmation.

We hope to begin instruction and preparation for a new group of confirmands soon. If you or a loved one is ready for this
life-changing commitment, please let us know.
